Standard Microsystems (SMSC): FQ4 EPS of $0.05 beats by $0.22. Revenue of $89.8M (-11.2% Y/Y) misses by $2M. Shares +0.3% AH.
Opnet Technologies (OPNT) -7.3% AH after lowering guidance for FQ4 earnings and revenue, pointing to purchasing delays associated with deals dxpected to close during the quarter. Bookings for application performance management rose 37% Y/Y and accelerated from the growth rate of the first three quarters of FY 2012.
Applied Micro Circuits (AMCC) -5.9% AH after issuing downward guidance for Q4, seeing revenues 6% below its previous forecast of $52M and a non-GAAP EPS loss of $0.10-$0.12 vs. a consensus loss of $0.08. The shortfall "is related to slowness in the service provider space and the overall wire line market weakness,” AMCC says.
