European shares end the week with moderate losses, giving up early substantial gains as word leaked out about S&P downgrades later today. Stoxx -0.8%, Germany -0.8%, France -0.5%, Italy -1.5%, Spain +0.3%, U.K. -0.6%. The euro has a 2011-style 250 pip range day, -1.1% at $1.2667
