European shares head higher

• European stocks mainly follow Asian equities higher, with one reason apparently being hope that the European Central Bank will further ease its monetary policy at a meeting on Thursday.
• Such hope may have been given succor by eurozone inflation falling to its lowest level in over four years in March.
• Euro Stoxx 50 +0.2%, London +0.8%, Paris flat, Frankfurt +0.2%, Milan +0.7%, Madrid +0.3%.
