Asian shares mixed, European stocks lower

• Asian stocks are mixed and European shares are lower ahead of U.S. inflation data today and the minutes of the latest FOMC meeting.
• Ben Bernanke's comments that the Fed will continue its ultra easy monetary policy for as long as necessary don't seem to be having too much of an impact.
• China is +0.6% and Hong Kong +0.2% after the PBOC yesterday fleshed out plans to ease controls on financial markets.
• Japan -0.3% ,India -1.5%.
• EU Stoxx 50 -0.1%, London -0.1%, Paris -0.1%, Frankfurt flat, Milan -0.3%, Madrid -0.35%.
• U.S. stock futures: Dow flat. S&P flat. Nasdaq +0.05%.
