Global shares mixed following PMI data
- Asian shares mostly rise following PMI data which showed that growth in Chinese factory activity accelerated in October. Readings for South Korea, Indonesia, Vietnam and Taiwan also indicated that manufacturing grew, although India remained in contraction.
- European shares are solidly lower, but U.S. stock futures are higher following losses on Wall Street yesterday.

- EU Stoxx 50 -0.2%, London -0.1%, Paris -0.3%, Frankfurt -0.2%, Milan -0.4%, Madrid -0.4%.
