Vivus (VVUS) says it's been informed of a three month PDUFA extension by the FDA of for the review of its Qnexa New Drug Application from April 17 to July 17. The FDA is extending the date to provide time for a full review of the submission. Shares -7% AH.
Harmonic (HLIT) cuts Q1 guidance, now seeing an EPS of around $0.02 - $0.03 per share on revenue of $125M - $128M. Consensus estimates are for $0.09 per share on $137M in revenue. The company says it was adversely impacted by the slower than expected order rate in the early part of the quarter, plus a decline in demand from its European customers. Shares -5% AH
