Top Analyst Upgrades & Downgrades: SNDK, AMZN, DECK, PCS, MDRX, ITMN- 4/27/12

These are some of the top analyst upgrades, downgrades, and initiations seen from Wall Street brokerage and research firms today.If you are looking to day trade, you might want to check out the following stocks. SanDisk (SNDK), Amazon.com (AMZN), Deckers Outdoor (DECK), MetroPCS (PCS), Allscripts (MDRX)  and InterMune (ITMN) were upgraded or downgraded by analysts.

SanDisk (SNDK) upgraded to Buy from Hold at Jefferies.Jefferies upgraded SanDisk citing limited downside risk and NAND price improvements. The firm raised its price target for shares to $47 from $45.

Amazon.com (AMZN) upgraded to Buy from Neutral at Nomura.Nomura upgraded Amazon.com based on gross margin expansion opportunity. Price target is $285.

Allscripts (MDRX) downgraded to Hold from Buy at Jefferies.Jefferies downgraded Allscripts citing the company's weaker than expected results, lowered guidance, and board room changes. The firm lowered its price target for shares to $10.50 from $25. Note shares were also downgraded this morning at Piper Jaffray.

Deckers Outdoor (DECK) downgraded to Hold from Buy at Jefferies.Jefferies downgraded Deckers Outdoor citing a loss of confidence in the company's earnings visibility following the Q1 results. The firm lowered its price target for shares to $65 from $120.

MetroPCS (PCS) downgraded to Market Perform from Outperform at Wells Fargo.Wells Fargo downgraded MetroPCS citing unclear visibility and a lack of positive catalysts in 2012. The firm lowered its price target for shares to $7-$7.50 from $11.50-$12.50.

InterMune (ITMN) downgraded to Market Perform from Outperform at JMP Securities.JMP Securities downgraded InterMune due to slow Esbriet sales and EU timing push-out.
