Veeco Instruments (VECO): Q1 EPS of $0.49 beats by $0.26. Revenue of $140M (-45.1% Y/Y) beats by $14M.Veeco's Q1: Though revenue fell 27% Q/Q, gross margin rose 340 bps to 46.7% and opex fell 13%, contributing to the strong EPS beat. Book-to-bill was a weak 0.81 thanks to poor LED and solar equipment orders, but that's up a bit from Q4's 0.75. Veeco is guiding for Q2 revenue of $120M-$145M and EPS of $0.29-$0.48, compared with a consensus of $128.2M and just $0.23. VECO +8.5% AH.

Sourcefire (FIRE): Q1 EPS of $0.11 beats by $0.03. Revenue of $46.3M (+50.3% Y/Y) beats by $5M. Shares +5.9% AH. 

Monolithic Power Systems (MPWR): Q1 EPS of $0.17 beats by $0.04. Revenue of $50.5M (+13.5% Y/Y) beats by $2.3M. Shares +4.8% AH

Shutterfly (SFLY): Q1 EPS of -$0.29 beats by $0.04. Revenue of $91.3M (+59.6% Y/Y) beats by $6.8M. Shutterfly's Q1: Growth was driven by a 72% Y/Y increase in sales of personalized products (77% of revenue) such as photo books and cards, offsetting weak consumer print sales. Shutterfly brand customers +18% Y/Y to 1.6M, average order value -8% to $24.60. The company expects Q2 revenue of $90M-$92M and 2012 revenue of $576M-$586M, above Street estimates of $88.4M and $556.3M. SFLY +10.4% AH.

NuVasive (NUVA): Q1 EPS of $0.20 beats by $0.02. Revenue of $151.7M (+21.8% Y/Y) beats by $8M. Shares +4.2% AH.

Forest Oil (FST): FQ4 EPS of $0.11 misses by $0.09. Revenue of $159M (-5% Y/Y) misses by $29M. Shares -7.5% AH

Stock Alert - Barnes & Noble Inc. (BKS) surged 70 percent to $23.20 for the biggest increase- 4/30/12

Amazon (AMZN +1.8%) is adding to Friday's post-earnings gains in spite of Microsoft and Barnes & Noble's (BKS +70.3%) tie-up. Microsoft's cash will allow B&N to take the Nook global, the company asserts, and hopes are up it will also let B&N match the aggressive e-book pricing Amazon is expected to show following the DOJ's settlement. Molycorp Inc. (MCP)-  Molycorp (MCP) was down last week.New support located at $27.50 and resistance area is $31.27.Share of  Molcorp (MCP) trade under $30 November which is good for 1/2 long my position for 2012, I am long for 2nd  half go long for low $23s. I believe that stock could see $50 stock next 12 months.But stock is short term overbought last week, I sold near $35 and I want buy back near $28 again last week. But I am still trading for short term weekly trade because I  want to make some weekly gain in my account.This is my one of the Top Pick for 2012.
