Candlesticks - Vol 5 - Candle Pattern Stages

Candlesticks contain the same data as a normal bar chart but highlight the relationship between opening and closing prices. The narrow stick represents the range of prices traded during the period (high to low) while the broad mid-section represents the opening and closing prices for the period.

• If the close is higher than the open - the candlestick mid-section is hollow or shaded blue/green.
• If the open is higher than the close - the candlestick mid-section is filled in or shaded red.

The advantage of candlestick charts is the ability to highlight trend weakness and reversal signals that may not be apparent on a normal bar chart.

Shares of Goldman Sachs Group (GS) is trading over $100 on Friday.But stock is long term buy here depend on market.Goldman Sachs next major resistance $105 followed by $110. Goldman Sachs is now a strong buy below $90 any market correction but stock could see low $80s in coming days which will be good buying opportunity.

Bank of America Corp (BAC) is closed  $6.46 and stock has support area is $6.BAC will now have resistance at $6.88 followed by $7.53. Bank of America is new support area is $5.50 but this is low risk bank stock.This is my one top pick for 2011.

Citi group Inc C  Resistance, pivot & Support Levels - 10/24/2011

Resistance levels: $31.78, $31.24, $30.77

Pivot point: $30.23

Support levels: $29.76, $29.22, $28.78

Share of Citigroup is closed over $30 on Friday. Stock is trading just over all moving average.Share of Citigroup Inc.(C) is next real resistance area is $31.97 which is last high.Citigroup has next big resistance will be over $36. If C  has next support level near $21.40 which is good buying opportunity  for long term. I think time to buy long term  buy here because there is some bounce stock can go $33-$34 area.
