(Bloomberg) -- Apple Inc. is investing $848 million in a
solar farm to harvest electricity in a partnership with First Solar Inc.
JinkoSolar drops after factory catches fire
- JinkoSolar (NYSE:JKS) is down 3.8% premarket after a major fire broke out at its wafer production facility in Shangrao city, China.
- The company estimates between RMB0.5M-RMB1M in damages, but does not expect the incident to have any material impact on its operations, financials or deliveries.
