Stocks slammed as Fed stays on taper course despite emerging markets.
Stocks finished near session lows, wiping out yesterday's gains and then some, after the Fed decided to stick with its taper plan despite distress in emerging markets.

Earnings results provided little reason for buying, as AT&T and Boeing fell after issuing disappointing full-year forecasts, and Yahoo slid as its online ad prices fell again in Q4.
Treasury bond prices rallied in the flight from riskier assets; the yield on the 10-year note fell to a low of 2.677%, below 2.7% for the first time in two months.
