Futures slide with gov't shutdown eyed
S&P 500 (SPY) futures
-0.4%, DJIA (DIA) -0.3%, and Nasdaq 100 (QQQ)
-0.4% as markets move on to the next bogeyman, a U.S.
government shutdown.
Europe's off moderately and Asia
was mostly higher overnight.
The 10-year Treasury yield is off 2 basis points to 2.63%.
This just in: Rates are headed lower. The 10-year is off 37 basis points since
touching 3% earlier this month.
