Here is some stock news Today: VirtualScopics (VSCP) lowers its FY12 revenue view to $12.5M - $13M from its prior $14M - $15M estimate, and below current FY12 consensus of $14.3M. The company attributes the downward revision to delays in new study initiations and analysis services, as well as a slow-down in decisions on pending outstanding proposals. Shares -11.7% AH

Xoma (XOMA -1.4%) says it's begun Phase 3 safety and efficacy studies of Gevokizumab, an antibody used to treat diabetes and inflammatory disorders.
