Beaten-down Rambus (RMBS +8.9%) soars after receiving a mixed
verdict in its suit against SK Hynix. Though finding Rambus guilty of destroying evidence in advance of the case and overturning a
prior $397M award in Rambus' favor, a federal district court also ruled Hynix is
infringing Rambus' patents, and that the memory IP company is entitled to
royalties on them on FRAND terms.
