Standard & Poor's lowers its outlook on Alpha Natural Resources' (ANR) BB- junk rating to negative from stable, reflect its expectations of continued challenges in the market for domestic steam coal used in power plants. Moody's lowered its rating on ANR earlier this week to B1, one notch below S&P's rating. 

Investors Real Estate Trust (IRET): FQ4 EPS of $0.18 beats by $0.01. Shares -0.4% AH.
