Children's Place (PLCE) announces that it will open stores across the Middle East as it sees "high potential" for its brands in the region. Its first two stores in Saudia Arabia will open sometime in Q2. Shares +0.9% AH
Apollo Group (APOL): FQ3 EPS of $1.20 beats by $0.24. Revenue of $1.13B (-8.5% Y/Y) in-line. Shares +7.4% AH
Liberty Media (LMCA) +1.1% AH after stating a New York jury has awarded it €765M ($956M) in damages in a breach of contract and fraud suit against Vivendi (VIVHY.PK). The suit relates to a stock swap accompany Vivendi's 2001 purchase of USA Network from Liberty Media.
Coinstar (CSTR) -5.2% AH after announcing it has closed its purchase of NCR's DVD-kiosk business, and predicting the deal will reduce 2012 EPS by $0.40-$0.50, as the company swaps out NCR's Blockbuster kiosks with Redbox kiosks. The acquisition will also increase 2012 capex by $40M-$45M, though Coinstar promises it will become accretive in 2013.
Synnex (SNX): FQ2 EPS of $0.90 in-line. Revenue of $2.48B (-0.5% Y/Y) misses by $30M.
