GeoMet (GMET) says year-end 2011 estimated proved natural gas reserves totaled approximately 198 bcf, including approximately 49 Bcf acquired in a previously announced acquisition that closed in November, 2011. The present value of future net cash flows attributable to proved reserves at year end was approximately $173M. Shares spiked higher at the close to finish +15.9%.

Peregrine Pharmaceuticals (PPHM): FQ3 EPS of -$0.13 in-line. Revenue of $3.28M (+13.8% Y/Y) beats by $1.1M 

Middleby (MIDD): Q4 EPS of $1.87 may not be comparable to consensus of $1.29. Revenue of $243.7M (+17.7% Y/Y) beats by $7M. 

Anthera Pharmaceuticals (ANTH) halts its VISTA-16 clinical study due to a lack of efficacy that could not be reasonably overcome in the remainder of the trial, following a recommendation by the Independent Data Safety Monitoring Board. ANTH -63.4% AH.

Michael Kors (KORS) files a shelf registration to sell 25M shares of common stock. Shares -0.4% AH
