Altera (ALTR) falls slightly AH after guiding on its mid-quarter update for Q1 revenue to fall 7%-9% Q/Q. Prior guidance was for a 5%-9% drop. Altera blames the weak performance on larger-than-expected customer inventory adjustments. In-line with expectations, the chipmaker says it expects sales to rise in Q2.

Emergent Biosolutions (EBS): Q4 EPS of $0.78 beats by $0.06. Revenue of $108M (+4.6% Y/Y) misses by $1M. Shares +2.4% AH.

Green Mountain Coffee (GMCR), at one point down over 20% AH thanks to Starbucks' (SBUX) single-cup announcement, has pared its losses after Starbucks uses a conference call (webcast) to state its Verismo machine and pods will coexist with Green Mountain's Keurig brewers and K-Cups. Nonetheless, shares are still down 13.7%. Starbucks, meanwhile, is now up 4.2%

TPC Group (TPCG): Q4 EPS of -$1.18 beats by $0.16. Revenue of $575M (+18% Y/Y) beats by $101M. Shares -2.8% AH.

The chipmaker cites lower demand for wireless products, though it doesn't clarify whether the products are its application processors or baseband chips - TI is winding down the latter business .
