VeriFone (PAY): FQ1 EPS of $0.58 beats by $0.06. Revenue of $425M (+49.8% Y/Y) beats by $9M. Shares +1.7% AH.
Applied Materials (AMAT) says it plans to buy back up to $3B of its common stock over the next three years, replacing an existing plan with had less than $1B remaining, and increases its regular quarterly dividend to $0.09/share from $0.08. AMAT +1.1% AH.
