Acme Packet (APKT) lowers guidance, seeing 2011 revenue of $308M-$310M against consensus of $318M. EPS are lowered to $1.03-$1.05 against consensus of $1.14. Biopharmaceutical developer Amarin (AMRN) dips in after-hours trading after announcing its wholly owned Irish subsidiary, Corsicanto Limited, has commenced a $150M debt offering of exchangeable senior notes due 2032. Shares -8.5% AH.
BioMimetic Therapeutics (BMTI) tanks in the post-trading session after the FDA says its proposed bone-graft device, Augment, wouldn't be approved without more information from previous studies. The company says it plans to submit the necessary information by the middle of the year. Shares -10.7% AH
