Microsoft (MSFT): Q2 EPS of $0.78 beats by $0.02. Revenue of $20.89B (+5% Y/Y) in-line. Shares +2.1% AH
 
IBM (IBM): Q4 EPS of $4.71 beats by $0.09. Revenue of $29.5B (+2% Y/Y) misses by $0.25B. Company expects 2012 EPS of $14.85, slightly above $14.82 consensus. Americas revenue +2% Y/Y, EMEA +1%, Asia-Pac +2% - all growth rates down notably from Q3 levels. Services revenue +3% Y/Y, backlog stood at $141B - up $4B Q/Q, but down $2B Y/Y. Software revenue +9% Y/Y. But hardware revenue fell 8%, thanks to a 31% drop in mainframe revenue. Free cash flow was $9B, up $300M Y/Y. IBM +3.2% AH

Skyworks Solutions (SWKS): FQ1 EPS of $0.51 beats by $0.02. Revenue of $393.7M (+17% Y/Y) beats by $4M. Shares +4.8% AH.

Intuitive Surgical (ISRG): Q4 EPS of $3.75 beats by $0.40. Revenue of $497M (+28% Y/Y) beats by $14M. Shares -4.1% AH

Cubist Pharmaceuticals (CBST): Q4 EPS of $0.66 beats by $0.35. Revenue of $213M (+32% Y/Y) beats by $9M. Shares +0.5% AH.

Capital One (COF): Q4 loan balances up 4.6% Q/Q, 7.9% Y/Y. Net interest margin declined 17 bps to 7.22%. The charge-off rate increased 17 bps to 2.69%. Provision for loan losses increased $239M Q/Q, $518M Y/Y. Marketing expense up $91M Y/Y. Shares -5.3% AH.

Google (GOOG): Q4 EPS of $9.50 misses by $0.95. Revenue of $8.13B (25+% Y/Y) misses by $0.3B International revenue fell to 53% of total from 55% in Q3, a decline that suggests European weakness played a large role in the shortfall. Paid clicks +34% Y/Y (+28% in Q3), but cost-per-click fell 8% Q/Q and Y/Y. 69% of revenue from Google sites, steady with Q3. Free cash flow was $2.97B, slightly below net income of $3.13B, thanks to capex of $951M (12% of revenue). GOOG -9.9% AH.

American Express (AXP): Q4 EPS of $1.01 beats by $0.02. Revenue of $7.7B (+7% Y/Y) misses by $0.2B. Shares -1.2% AH.
