After Hours Earning News:
YM BioSciences (YMI) surges 21.9% AH after reporting positive results for the Phase I/II study of its CYT387 drug for treating myleofibrosis, both with regards to efficacy and safety. The company hopes to start "pivotal trials" for the drug in mid-2012.
Sensata Technologies (ST) falls 2.1% AH after warning its Q4 revenue will fall $20M-$25M short of the mid-point of its prior guidance range, and its EPS $0.03-$0.05 short of its prior guidance mid-point.
MarkWest Energy Partners (MWE) drops 3.4% AH after announcing its intent to acquire the 49% interest in its MarkWest Liberty Midstream JV that it doesn't already own. MarkWest will finance the deal by paying $1B in cash, and issuing 20M Class B shares. It expects the deal to be "up to 6% accretive in 2013 and beyond."
Security technology provider AuthenTec (AUTH) files a $100M shelf registration with the SEC. Once effective, it will allow the company to sell up to $100M in shares of its common, preferred and/or debt securities. Shares -1.7% AH.
Pioneer Natural Resources (PXD) and Pioneer Southwest Energy Partners (PSE) announce a combined secondary offering of 4.4M common units. PXD +1.5%, PSE -2.8% AH
