Openwave (OPWV) surges 29.3% AH after announcing a patent licensing deal with Microsoft (MSFT).Openwave Systems Inc. said Thursday that it reached a patent licensing deal -- its first thus far -- with Microsoft Corp. Terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
Openwave shares jumped 48 cents, or 31 percent, to $2.05 in after-hours trading after the deal was announced. The stock had finished regular trading up 2 cent at $1.57.
