Stock Alert - Lululemon (LULU) boosts its outlook for Q4 - 1/10/12

Lululemon (LULU) boosts its outlook for Q4, moving its guidance for EPS to $0.47-$0.49 from $0.40-$0.42 and bumping up its sales mark to $358M-$363M from $327M-$332M. The retailer says a strong consumer reaction to its holiday assortment will lift same-store sales to a low-to-mid twenties percentage gain, higher than its initial estimate calling for growth in the low to mid-teens. Shares +11.9% premarket.

Pre-market there are some of the story stocks gainer - January 10, 2012
Alcoa (AA): Q4 EPS of -$0.03 misses by $0.01. Revenue of $5.99B (+6% Y/Y) beats by $0.2B. Shares +1.1% AH 

Emulex (ELX) gains 8.3% AH after announcing it expects FQ2 revenue of $127M-$128M and EPS of $0.24-$0.25, above a consensus of $124M and $0.17. The company, whose shares had been hit by concerns about Thai flooding exposure, says its operations are now back to full capacity. Top rival QLogic (QLGC) is up 3.6%

Cirrus Logic (CRUS) is preannouncing in the opposite direction: the company says it expects FQ3 revenue of $122M, well above a consensus of $105.1M, and is also guiding for FQ4 revenue of $105M, above a $98.5M consensus. Cirrus' announcement could be another indication of strong iPhone demand, given it supplies an audio codec chip for the 4S. Shares +7.4% AH

BofA/Merrill Lynch Downgrades Netflix (NFLX) to Underperform -1/10/12

The following is NetFlix Inc (NFLX)  stock technical analysis for  January 10, 2012   
NetFlix Inc NFLX  Resistance, pivot & Support Levels – 1/10/2012

Resistance levels: $115.35, $107.50, $102.84

Pivot point: $94.94

Support levels:$90.33, $82.48, $77.82

BofA/Merrill Lynch downgraded Netflix (NASDAQ: NFLX) from Neutral to Underperform. With shares up ~40% year-to-date this rating change could have an impact on the stock.Shares of Netflix closed at $98.18 yesterday, with a 52 week range of $62.37-$304.79. Netflix, Inc. (NFLX) is trading at $98 today which biggest gain of the year and stock up almost 30 points in last  4 days. Netflix Inc (NFLX) will have resistance located at $100 going forward. But I i will take profit from here  because stock up too fast. Netflix Inc (NFLX) is a buy below $75.Netflix Inc (NFLX) will have  support area $90 for short term.Netflix Inc is a buy on pullbacks below $75 any market correction.

Stock Upgrades and Downgrades : JNPR, T, VDSI, BRO, AN, CF, ALGN - 1/10/12

Juniper (JNPR), AT&T (T), VASCO Data (VDSI), Brown & Brown (BRO), Autonation (AN), CF Industries (CF),  Align Technology (ALGN) were upgraded or downgraded by analysts. 

Juniper (JNPR) upgraded to Overweight from Neutral at Piper Jaffray.Piper Jaffray upgraded Juniper following the company's negative Q4 preannouncement on expectations 2012 will be a significantly better year for shares. Piper raised its price target for the name to $25 from $22.

AT&T (T) coverage resumed with a Hold at Deutsche Bank.Deutsche Bank cites pressures to wireless margins and strategic uncertainty for its Hold rating on AT&T. The firm has a $32 price target for the stock.

Emulex (ELX) upgraded to Sector Perform from Underperform at Pacific Crest.

Align Technology (ALGN) initiated with a Buy at ThinkEquity Target $30.

VASCO Data (VDSI) Security upgraded to Buy from Hold at Wunderlich.Wunderlich upgraded VASCO Data Security citing the recent pullback in shares and increased confidence in the company's enterprise business trends. The firm keeps an $8.25 price target for the stock.

Brown & Brown (BRO) initiated with a Buy at Deutsche Bank Target $27.

CF Industries (CF) upgraded to Outperform from Market Perform at BMO Capital.BMO Capital upgraded CF Industries citing valuation. Price target is $194.

Autonation (AN) initiated with a Neutral at Sterne Agee Target $35
