OmniVision (OVTI +8.1%) soars following a report stating the image sensor vendor is "believed to have secured orders" for the next-gen iPhone and iPad, and has boosted its orders to its packaging/testing partners as a result. It's added OmniVision's Q2 chip orders to TSMC (TSM) are expected to "jump significantly" from Q1 levels. OmniVision's sensors are used in the new iPad's front and rear cameras, though it lost iPhone share to Sony with the 4S launch.
