Biggest Stock Gainers 2/14/12 February 14, 2012

During regular trading hours, there were many stocks that continued to break up to the upside. Below is a list of some of the story stocks to watch for February 14, 2011 

Michael Kors Holdings Ltd. (KORS) (KORS ) surged 19 percent to $40.15 and climbed to $41.32 earlier, the highest intraday price since it went public in December. The clothing company reported third-quarter earnings excluding some items of 28 cents a share, beating the 11 cent average estimate of analysts.

Rackspace Hosting Inc. (RAX) rallied 9.1 percent to $53.73 for the biggest increase in the Russell 1000 Index. The biggest competitor to Amazon.com Inc. in the market for Web- based data centers said net income jumped 85 percent to $25 million, beating analyst estimates.

Syntroleum Corp. (SYNM) rose 18 percent to $1.30 after climbing to $1.35 earlier, the highest intraday price since Aug. 10. The company’s Dynamic Fuels LLC venture with Tyson Foods Inc. (TSN US) agreed to supply renewable diesel to Norfolk Southern Corp. (NSC US).

Ultra Clean Holdings Inc. (UCTT) advanced 16 percent to $9.04 after jumping 20 percent earlier, the most intraday since April 26. The supplier of equipment to semiconductor makers said first-quarter earnings will be at least 15 cents a share, beating the average analyst estimate of 9 cents.
