First Solar, Inc.(FSLR)-Share of First Solar, Inc.(FSLR) is trading under $17 last week.Share of First Solar, Inc. (FSLR) is one of the worst stock of year 2011.I am long some under 20 last week and I am looking for long side under $17 may be next week long term buy any market correction. I am just 10% long near $40 level and looking any pullback. This stock could be $60-$70 stock  next 12 months. Stock was one of the hot stock was $2010-$2111. First Solar, Inc. (FSLR) is a strong buy below $20 per share for long term buy list  for 2012.This is my one of the Top Pick for 2012.

Crude oil prices have been surging recently, and there is little sign that the momentum will be slowing down. Every time crude oil reaches these types of elevated levels, it seems that interest in alternative forms of energy also rise. Solar is one type of alternative energy that gets particular attention, and should be on investors' radar going into 2012.  

 

Avian's upgrade of First Solar (FSLR +3.5%) seems to outweigh Auriga's downgrade, as the volatile shares are among today's top gainers. Avian sees FSLR addressing new markets where subsidy dependency is not the most important, while Auriga sees new strains on its balance sheet suggesting a longer path back to profitability than previously modeled
