Pan American Silver (PAAS), U.S. Bancorp (USB), VIVUS (VVUS), Rovi (ROVI), Gap (GPS) and InvenSense (INVN) were upgraded or downgraded by analysts.

Pan American Silver (PAAS) initiated with a Buy at Deutsche Bank.Target $31.

U.S. Bancorp (USB) downgraded to Market Perform from Outperform at BMO Capital.BMO Capital downgraded U.S. Bancorp based on valuation. Price target raised to $34 from $33.

VIVUS (VVUS) upgraded to Buy from Hold at Brean Murray.Brean Murray said the FDA panel meeting clearly demonstrated a health benefit for weight loss, which will put more pressure on the FDA to approve an obesity drug. The firm expects VIVUS's Qnexa to be approved and upgraded shares an established a $30 price target.

Rovi (ROVI) coverage resumed with a Neutral at Goldman.Target $33.

Gap (GPS) upgraded to Buy from Neutral at Janney Capital.Janney upgraded GAP based on improved merchandising, inventory management, and expected margin improvements in 2H 2012. Price target raised to $33 from $29.

InvenSense (INVN) downgraded to Perform from Outperform at Oppenheimer.Oppenheimer downgraded InvenSense ahead of the May 15 lock-up expiration citing valuation and competition. Price target remains $15.

Developed J. Welles Wilder, the Relative Strength Index (RSI) is a momentum oscillator that measures the speed and change of price movements. RSI oscillates between zero and 100. Traditionally, and according to Wilder, RSI is considered overbought when above 70 and oversold when below 30. Signals can also be generated by looking for divergences, failure swings and center line crossovers.
