Microsoft (MSFT) is reportedly in talks to buy Yammer, a top provider of enterprise social networking sites, and could end up paying over $1B. Yammer would join an extensive list of Microsoft solutions that enable business collaboration, including SharePoint, Exchange, Lync, and Skype. Jive Software (JIVE), which competes with Yammer and has already been the subject of M&A speculation, could trade higher on the report. Salesforce.com (CRM) also competes with Yammer via its Chatter product
