Synaptics (SYNA) gains 8.3% AH after reporting FQ1 revenue of $133.4M (-13% Y/Y) and EPS of $0.57, beating consensus by $0.8M and $0.10. The company expects FY12 revenue to down 1%-6% Y/Y (-1.1% consensus), but sees its gross profit increasing. In addition, Synaptics' board is boosting the company's stock buyback program by $100M.
