Stocks to Watch over RSI over 70 for 9/8/11

Developed J. Welles Wilder, the Relative Strength Index (RSI) is a momentum oscillator that measures the speed and change of price movements. RSI oscillates between zero and 100. Traditionally, and according to Wilder, RSI is considered overbought when above 70 and oversold when below 30. Signals can also be generated by looking for divergences, failure swings and center line crossovers. Transcept Pharmaceuticals (TSPT) jumps in the post-session after the company announces its will resubmit its New Drug Application to the FDA seeking its approval of Intermezzo. Earlier today the FDA had notified the company that it generally agreed with its new proposals following the drug's rejection in July. Shares +13.7% AH. 

Rockwell Collins (COL) reaffirms FY11 guidance and announces a $700M increase to its share repurchase program. EPS will be around $4.40 to $4.60, compared to the Street estimates of $4.05, and revenue will be between $4.9B and $5B versus a consensus of $4.84B. Shares +1.9% AH.

Netflix (NASDAQ: NFLX) Down 11% in Pre-Market

Netflix, which instituted a price hike earlier this fall, says the higher costs are turning off more customers than it expected. The video rental company has cut its third quarter U.S. subscriber projections from 25 million subscribers to 24 million, a 4 percent cut. The majority of the shrinkage, Netflix says, will come from its DVD-only customers.

Netflix says the subscriber cut won’t affect its financial guidance. In a brief note, it defends, again, its reasoning

The strategy behind the split of our services is four-fold:
(1) to create a dedicated DVD rental division that takes pride in great execution and maximizes the
opportunity for disc rental over the coming decade;
(2) to enable us to improve our global streaming service even more rapidly, because it is not
meshed with a domestic DVD business;
(3) to enable us, with the growth in revenue, to license more streaming content and thereby
improve our streaming service even more;
(4) to remain very price aggressive, with $7.99 per month for unlimited streaming of a huge library
of TV shows and movies, and $7.99 per month for unlimited DVD rentals, 1 out at-a-time.

Resistance levels: $7.35, $7.24, $7.14

Support levels: $6.93, $6.82, $6.72
   

Bank of America Corp (BAC) is closed over $7  and stock has support area is $6.BAC will now have resistance at $8.80. Bank of America is new support area is $6 but this is low risk bank stock.This is my one top pick for 2011.
