Adobe Systems Inc. (ADBE) posted a 54% gain in quarterly profit and an increase in revenue exceeding $1 billion for the fiscal-quarter that ended earlier this month. Net income rose from 28 to 45 cents a share. Shares were up during regular trading, but have since dropped 0.97% since the closing bell.
Jabil Circuit Inc. (JBL) reported a fiscal third-quarter profit of $104.7 million on revenue of $4.2 billion, up from $52 million profit on $3.5 billion in revenue during the same quarter last year. Jabil reported core earnings of $129.1 million, or 58 cents a share, slightly above the 57 cents a share predicted by analysts. Shares were up before the bell but have slipped 0.27% in after-hours trading.
La-Z-Boy (LZB) profits fell 26% in their fiscal fourth quarter, with net profit down to $10.3 million, or 19 cents a share. And yet La-Z-Boy shares are up 2.29% in after-hours trading.
