Cliffs Natural Resources (NYSE: CLF [FREE Stock Trend Analysis]) soared 11.34% to $21.60 in the pre-market trading on confirmation of talks with shareholder Casablanca Capital.

Canadian Solar (NASDAQ: CSIQ) shares jumped 5.23% to $39.20 in pre-market trading after the company announced the sale of a 10MW utility scale solar power plant in Ontario to a fund managed by BlackRock.

YY (NASDAQ: YY) shares gained 4.40% to $59.50 in the pre-market after dropping 4.68% on Monday.

DR Horton (NYSE: DHI) surged 4.11% to $21.80 in the pre-market session after the company reported upbeat FQ1 results.

Tile Shop Holdings (NASDAQ: TTS) shares fell 14.06% to $12.65 in the pre-market trading after the company reported results of independent probe and issued downbeat FY14 outlook.

America First Multifamily Investors LP (NASDAQ: ATAX) shares dropped 8.04% to $5.83 in pre-market trading after the company announced a public offering of 7 million shares.

Apple (NASDAQ: AAPL) dipped 7.67% to $508.30 after the company issued weak sales forecast for the second quarter and reported downbeat holiday iPhone sales. Analysts at BGC Partners downgraded Apple from Buy to Hold.
