Blyth (BTH) +12.5% AH after announcing it has reached a deal to defer the full purchase of its ViSalus subsidiary, in which Blythe owns a 73% stake, until April 2014, and that the purchase price will be based on ViSalus' 2013 EBITDA. In addition, Blyth has agreed to new 5-year contracts with ViSalus' CEO and CMO. Blyth was crushed last week after ViSalus withdrew its IPO.
Pentair (PNR) says its board has authorized an additional $800M stock buyback , to expire on December 31, 2015. The authorization is in addition to the $400M repurchase program announced on September 28, giving the company an aggregate amount of $1.2B which is consistent with its March, 2012 merger announcement. Share -4.4% AH
Core Labs (CLB) -4.6% AH after disclosing it expects Q3 results below prior guidance given in its Q2 earnings release and subsequent earnings conference call. CLB now sees Q3 revenues at $240M-$245M vs. prior guidance of $250M-$260M and $255.7M consensus, with EPS at $1.09-$1.13 vs. prior $1.17-$1.25 and $1.23
Genesis Energy (GEL) -5.9% AH after announcing a secondary offering of 6M common units representing limited partner interests by Quintana Capital Group and certain affiliates and other selling unitholders. GEL will not receive any of the proceeds from the sale.
