Berkshire Hathaway (BRK.A0)- The conglomerate posted earnings of $1,615 per class A share, excluding one-time items, missing expectations for $1,780 a share. The firm reported revenue of $38.15 billion. The company holds its shareholders meeting over the week. BRK.B now -0.2% AH
Apple (AAPL) - The iPad maker's stock continued to edge lower in extended-hours trading after selling off more than 2 percent in the regular trading session, piercing below its 50-day moving average of $585 a share. The tech giant has slumped nearly 6 percent for the week, and almost 12 percent from its all-time high of $644 a share.
AIG (AIG) - The Treasury department announced a public offering of AIG common stocks. The total size and price of the offering was not yet determined, but AIG said it is committed to take $2 billion of the offering sold at the IPO price. Shares of the insurance company fell in extended-hours trading. AIG -3.2% AH
Google (GOOG) Oracle (ORCL)- A U.S. judge asked jurors to continue deliberating Oracle's copyright claims against Google over the Android mobile platform, after jurors indicated they had reached unanimous agreement on all but one of the questions.
Georgia Gulf (GGC)- Westlake Chemical (WLK ) withrew its $1.9 billion offer to buy Georgia Gulf. In addition, Westlake said it plans to liquidate its holdings of Georgia Gulf common stock as market conditions permit. Shares of Georgia Gulf tumbled in extended-hours trading.WLK +1.2%, GGC -9.5% AH
Cablevision (CVC)- The cable company will sell the Clearview Cinemas chain and has hired Citigroup to advise on the process, according to reports from the Wall Street Journal. Shares of the firm edged higher in extended-hours trading.
Janus Capital (JNS)- Gamco disclosed a 5.11 percent stake in the investment firm in its 13D filing.
Tutor Perini (TPC): Q1 EPS of $0.08 may not be comparable to consensus of $0.48. Revenue of $912.5M (+48% Y/Y) misses by $187M. Shares -2.8% AH.
