Shares in partners Alkermes (ALKS) and Amylin Pharmaceuticals (AMLN) will resume trading at 4:15 p.m., after a halt this afternoon tied to the FDA's approval of their Bydureon weekly diabetes treatment. ALKS +3.6% AH; AMLN +14.8% AH.
Delta Air Lines (DAL) is weighing a possible acquisition of US Airways (LCC), WSJ reports, the latest twist in a swirl of deal talk in the industry that has included Delta and US Airways each assessing a move for AMR (AAMRQ.PK). LCC +7% AH
Rambus (RMBS -10.5%), which fell after providing soft Q1 guidance (revenue of $59M-$64M vs. consensus of $70M) to go with its Q4 beat, falls 2.9% AH after the USPTO discloses it invalidated a patent relevant to lawsuits Rambus filed against NVDA, HPQ, and others. With the two other patents relevant to the suits having been invalidated in September, a 2010 licensing deal with Nvidia could be at risk.
Clean Energy (CLNE +4.8%) falls 2.3% AH, to $14.74, after filing to sell 15M shares held by insiders at a maximum offering price of $13.91. Boone Pickens will be selling 1.5M shares, thereby lowering his stake in the natural gas fuel provider to 27.6%
